Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, appointed by order, this Monday, eight judges to join the Supreme Court.<\/b><\/p>\n

These are judges Anabela Couto de Castro Valente, Anto\u0301nio Fernando Neto da Costa, Artur Domingos Gunza, Ina\u0301cio Paixa\u0303o, Maria Guiomar Vieira Dias Gamboa Craveiro, Pacie\u0302ncia Grac\u0327a Diaquiesse Dondeiro Sima\u0303o, Pedro Nazare\u0301 Pascoal and Rau\u0301l Carlos de Freitas Rodrigues.<\/p>\n

According to a note from the Secretariat for Institutional Communication and Press Affairs of the President of the Republic, the nomination results from a proposal by the Superior Council of the Judiciary and aims to fill the post of counselor judges of the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n

The nominees were approved by competitive examination, for the provision of vacancies in this court.<\/p>\n

In another decree, President Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o exonerated, for convenience of service, Anto\u0301nio Fernando Neto da Costa from the post of Deputy Secretary of the Council of Ministers, having appointed Jose\u0301 Maria Varela Gomes Borges to this post.<\/p>\n

Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o also exonerated Francisco Joa\u0303o de Carvalho Neto from the position of Secretary of the President of the Republic for Judicial and Legal Affairs.<\/p>\n

In another diploma, the Head of State appointed Edilson Paulo Agostinho to the position of Secretary of the President of the Republic for Judicial and Legal Affairs.<\/p>\n
