Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The City pavilion will be the stage, starting at 6:30 pm this Tuesday, of the Petro de Luanda-1.o de Agosto clash for the semi-finals of the Angola Cup in basketball, with the weight of 28 titles shared between the contenders.<\/b><\/p>\n

Champions of the last edition, the \u201ctricolors\u201d have 13 trophies, the last of which was won in 2022, defeating Interclube in the final, the third largest force in men\u2019s seniors in the country.<\/p>\n

As for the \u201cmilitaries\u201d, who were content with third place in the previous edition, they are the biggest force in the sector with 15 titles in their gallery.<\/p>\n

Today, Lazare Adingono’s “pupils” will try to ward off the specter of elimination in the semi-finals of the previous season, in which they were eliminated by Interclube.<\/p>\n

To reach this stage, “tricolors” beat Petro B, with a double victory (93-71 and 109-69).<\/p>\n

The “military” also eliminated their team B, with triumphs (93-71 and 100-85).<\/p>\n

The last time they faced each other, in January, Petro won by 99-94, in a challenge for the regular phase of the National Championship.<\/p>\n

Tonight’s duel will be marked by the debut of the two reinforcements of the “militaries”, the Frenchman Jordan Aboudou (winger) and the American Nico Clareth (winger).<\/p>\n
