Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>An Angolan multisectoral delegation, headed by the Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Carmen Neto, is in Copenhagen, capital of Denmark, to participate in a Conference on \u201cBlue Justice\u201d, taking place on the 23rd and 24th of this month.<\/b><\/p>\n

The event essentially aims to share experiences and create creative solutions to strengthen inter-agency cooperation and combat fishing crime.<\/p>\n

For two days, the event will also promote discussion to facilitate the adoption of measures and policies to be implemented by all UN Member States, as well as stimulate debate on how to improve and share relevant information to the operation to combat illegal fishing.<\/p>\n

According to the document, the participants will also promote education programs for artisanal fishermen, with a view to training them in matters relating to laws and regulations related to commercial fishing, in addition to stimulating innovation in technologies friendly to ecological fishing, such as smart ships and monitoring systems.<\/p>\n
