Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A delegation from the Ministry of National Defense and Veterans of the Fatherland is in the village of Cangamba, seat of the municipality of Luchazes, province of Moxico, to carry out a survey of topographic data of the space where the Heroes of Cangamba Monument will be built.<\/b><\/p>\n

The delegation will work in the municipality 356 kilometers further south from Luena, to deepen the survey of topographic data of the space where the Monument to the Heroes of Cangamba is intended to be erected in the future, informs the Office of Institutional Communication and Press of the Government of Moxico.<\/p>\n

The municipal administrator, Quintas Sempieca, highlighted that the initiative “is good for everything that the people of Luchazes consented to, donating themselves for the cause of the homeland and for the historical dimension of the municipality”.<\/p>\n

The Cangamba event is a battle against the South African invasion in the province of Moxico, which took place in 1983, which marked the history of the liberation and consolidation of Angola’s independence.<\/p>\n
