Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A billion 877 million 437 thousand and 500 kwanzas is the amount disbursed with the four installments to 18 thousand 342 families, in the municipality of Quilengues, in Hui\u0301la, under the Program for Strengthening the National System of Social Protection – Kwenda.<\/b><\/p>\n

In a press release from the Institute of Local Development – FAS Friday, it refers that the payment of the fourth installment has been due since the 17th of the current month and that each family receives 25 thousand and 500 kwanzas, via multi-box cards of one local commercial bank.<\/p>\n

The impact of this social investment on the families of Quilenges, reads in the document, is summarized in the reinforcement of its capacity to respond to economic and productive initiatives, human capital and the acquisition of products from the basic food basket.<\/p>\n

Families are advised to use the values \u200b\u200brationally, opting for small business, buying small animals for breeding and reproduction to ensure greater sustainability for household members.<\/p>\n

Hui\u0301la registers more than 94 thousand families for the program<\/p>\n

In the province of Hui\u0301la, according to the report, 94,018 households have so far been registered in the municipalities of Cacula, Gambos, Humpata and Quilengues, having already benefited 69,435, with a global value of three billion, 886 million, 098 thousand kwanzas.<\/p>\n

In addition to Social Monetary Transfers, Kwenda has three more components, that of Productive Inclusion, which aims to support the economic initiatives of families residing in the target municipalities of the programme.<\/p>\n

Another is the Municipalization of Social Action, which is taking shape with the creation of Integrated Social Action Centers (CASI), with the aim of bringing citizens closer to essential services and mediating conflicts, and Hui\u0301la already has four centers in operation, in ratio of one for each municipality.<\/p>\n

The Single Social Registry is the fourth component whose purpose is the interoperability of databases or social protection in the country<\/p>\n

Kwenda is an Angolan Government program that aims to support families in extremely vulnerable situations in the country. Valued at US$420 million, financed by the World Bank and the National Treasury.<\/p>\n
