Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The eleven winners, in the different categories, of the first edition of the National Woman of Merit Award were announced this Tuesday, in Luanda, by the organisation. <\/b><\/p>\n

The disclosure was made by the president of the jury, Rosa Cruz e Silva, who highlighted the candidacy of 124 women, from 15 provinces in the country.<\/p>\n

In the Research category, Cla\u0301udia Videira, from the province of Huambo, won, while in the Health category, medical genecologist Francisca Paulo, from Cuanza Sul won.<\/p>\n

Entrepreneurship and Fishing, Na\u0301dia Camate, from Namibe, and Rosalina Anto\u0301nio, from Cuanza Sul, respectively.<\/p>\n

The categories Agriculture, Overcoming, Tourism and Environment, Culture and Art, Women and Citizenship and Blue Economy enshrined, respectively, Joaquina Francisca, Cuanza Sul, Ema da Silva, Malanje, Graciete Marta, Cuanza Sul, Maria Fernandes, Luanda, Arlete Borges , Luanda, and Maria Faustina, from Luanda.<\/p>\n

According to Rosa Cruz e Silva, the winners have projects that have an impact on the communities where they are located and in their respective areas, underlining that the Agriculture category did not receive candidacies.<\/p>\n

The beneficiaries will be awarded an honorable mention, a diploma of merit and 1.5 million Kwanzas, at the gala scheduled for April 6th.<\/p>\n

The unprecedented event is an organization of the Ministry of Social Action, Family and Women’s Promotion regulated by decree law, with the aim of honoring women who, individually or collectively, stood out in the most diverse, in the previous year.<\/p>\n
