Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The price of a barrel of Brent oil, which serves as a reference for Angolan exports for delivery in April, today surpassed the USD 95 barrier on the London futures market, trading at USD 95.57.<\/b><\/p>\n

This figure represents an increase of 1.15 percent compared to last Friday’s settlement and may be due to the growing tension over the situation in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

On Friday, North Sea crude had ended the day on the International Exchange Futures with an appreciation of $3.10 from the previous day.<\/p>\n

The escalation of tension over a possible Russian military incursion into Ukrainian territory triggered a rise in oil prices due to fears of problems in the global supply of crude oil, according to experts, quoted by EFE today.<\/p>\n
