Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angola and Brazil are holding, as of Wednesday, in Brasi\u0301lia, the 7th session of the Joint Commission, for the deepening of diplomatic relations and bilateral cooperation.<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was released this Tuesday, in a note from the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which reported on the arrival in Brasi\u0301lia of the head of Angolan diplomacy, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, to participate in the meeting.<\/p>\n

It should be remembered that the details of the preparation of this event were dealt with on the 23rd of last month, during a telephone conversation between the ministers of Foreign Affairs of Angola, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, and of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Mauro Luiz Vieira.<\/p>\n

Cooperation between Angola and Brazil began to take shape on June 11, 1980, with the signing of the Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Agreement.<\/p>\n

Under this agreement, the two countries developed cooperation in the areas of Defense, Health, Culture, Public Administration, Professional Training, Education, Environment, Sports, Statistics and Agriculture.<\/p>\n

Angola and Brazil have also worked to strengthen and deepen their relationship within the CPLP, with emphasis on issues of mobility agreements, investment facilitation and double taxation.<\/p>\n

The 7th session of the Angola-Brazil Joint Commission will conclude its work next Friday (7).<\/p>\n
