Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The District Court of Cabinda has, since Tuesday, a new building, providing better working conditions and accommodation for magistrates.<\/b><\/p>\n

In his speech, at the inauguration act of the infrastructure, the presiding judge of the Cabinda District Court, Domingos Wilson, said that the new house of justice restores hope, trust and certainty, above all, justice, a beloved value by all peoples.<\/p>\n

He also underlined that, through joint efforts and empathy, the doors of the courthouse are opened for the intended, healthy dialogue between the law and society, where the citizen will be the fundamental attention.<\/p>\n

The lack of judges has been one of the concerns expressed by the presiding judge, Domingos Wilson, who indicated that conditions are being created to overcome this issue.<\/p>\n

The governor of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa, who cut the ribbon, said that all the constraints that were at the base, during the approximately 4 years, of the delay in the requalification of the referred building in a courthouse, had been overcome.<\/p>\n

For the governor, the judges of the Cabinda District Court now have better working and accommodation conditions to better serve the population.<\/p>\n

The three-story building has seven rooms for judges, five courtrooms, a prosecutor’s office and three notary offices.<\/p>\n

Cabinda, in addition to the new building inaugurated, also has the old building, as well as the district of Buco-Zau, pending the entry into operation of the courts in the municipalities of Belize and Cacongo.<\/p>\n
