Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tete\u0301 Anto\u0301nio, highlighted this Wednesday, in Brasi\u0301lia (Brazil), the importance of Angola\/Brazil cooperation, having expressed interest and urgency in signing memorandums pending since 2022, in the sector agricultural. <\/b><\/p>\n

According to the press release, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio stated that the recent appointment of an Agriculture attache\u0301 at the Brazilian Embassy in Angola constitutes a commendable and opportune initiative that will contribute to the increase of the strategic partnership between the two countries in the domain agricultural.<\/p>\n

According to the document, the Angolan diplomat also explained that the seventh Angola-Brazil Joint Commission, held in Brasi\u0301lia, addresses cooperation in agriculture and development of irrigated areas between the two countries.<\/p>\n

To this end, according to the report, the two delegations highlighted aspects related to agricultural production, investments in the area of \u200b\u200bprocessing products and animal and plant origin, production of vaccines and medicines for veterinary use.<\/p>\n

As for the development of irrigated areas, the delegations evaluated the development of family farming, as well as support for training staff and the rural extension service.<\/p>\n

The Federative Republic of Brazil is among the nine largest economies in the world and is the third largest economy on the American continent, after the United States of America and Canada.<\/p>\n

Brazil has a solid economy, an open and competitive market, with great export capacity. It is an emerging economy that, along with Russia, China, India and South Africa, form the BRICS.<\/p>\n
