Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The reinforcement of cooperation between Angola and Brazil was at the center of a meeting, Wednesday, in Brasi\u0301lia, between the secretaries of State for the Interior of Angola, Jose\u0301 Paulino Cunha da Silva, and for Brazilian Public Security, Tadeu Alencar .<\/b><\/p>\n

According to a note from the Angolan diplomatic representation in Brazil, the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the VII meeting of the Angola-Brazil Joint Commission, evaluated the implementation of the Agreement on Security and Internal Order, initialed in 2019, in the Angolan capital, the exchange of operational information, as well as the training and qualification of staff.<\/p>\n

With the same objective, Jose\u0301 Paulino Cunha da Silva met with the director general of the Federal Police, Andrei Rodrigues, a moment that served to identify new areas subject to cooperation and practical modalities for preventing and combating drug trafficking and other crimes cross-border.<\/p>\n

Likewise, the parties addressed matters related to the prevention and fight against money laundering, terrorist financing, financial fraud and trafficking in human beings and organs, among others.<\/p>\n

Accompanied by the Secretary of State were high officials from the Ministry of the Interior of Angola.<\/p>\n
