Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Economist Anto\u0301nio Feliciano Brac\u0327a defended, this Thursday, in Huambo, a greater liquidity capacity of the national commercial bank, to help the diversification of the economy, through the reinforcement of consumer credit.<\/b><\/p>\n

On the role of banking in the diversification of the national economy, without pointing out numbers, the economist regretted the fact that there are many commercial banks in the country with little liquidity capacity in the market, being increasingly turned to public business and the purchase of securities.<\/p>\n

He stated that the ease of access to consumer credit is the machine for the operation of the market economy, hence the need for banks to exercise their role as financiers of private agents in this segment, in order to allow the growth of the national business community.<\/p>\n

According to the technician from the General Tax Administration (AGT), financing the national economy should be the biggest source of income for commercial banking, provided that there is a guarantee of the sustainability of the return on money, taking into account the risk that the activity has.<\/p>\n

Anto\u0301nio Brac\u0327a called for the simplification of administrative and bureaucratic procedures, both on the part of the bank and on the part of the Angolan State, in obtaining the necessary documentation, such as the land design title and other personal guarantee properties, which have brought embarrassment in obtaining of credit.<\/p>\n

The economist hopes that citizens will go to banks, with a view to requesting financing for their projects, generating profits and not liabilities, such as buying furniture and parties, as it is an anticipation of consumption, which includes various interest rates.<\/p>\n

A doctoral student in Education at the Luso\u0301fona University of Lisbon (Portugal), Anto\u0301nio Feliciano Brac\u0327a holds a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences, specializing in Public Policy and Educational Context, from the same university and a degree in Economics from the Agostinho Neto University.<\/p>\n

In addition to being the coordinator for Tax Reform at the AGT’s Center for Tax Studies, Anto\u0301nio Brac\u0327a is also a university lecturer.<\/p>\n

It has six works in the Angolan literary market, namely \u201cEu e o Dinheiro\u201d, \u201cEmbria\u0303o do Direito Fiscal\u201d, \u201cEu e os Tributos \u2013 an approach on Financial Literacy\u201d, \u201cKanukus e o IVA\u201d, \u201cO Budget General do Estado in education in Angola” and “Poetic Rhymes of the Sun and the Moon”.<\/p>\n
