Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The National Institute of Cultural and Creative Industries \u200b(INICC) announced this Tuesday, in Luanda, the opening of the reception of candidacies for \u200bthe Sagrada Esperanc\u0327a Literary Prize, \u200bedition of 2023\u200b.\u200b<\/b><\/p>\n

According to a press release, the institution, in \u200bpartnership with the Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto Foundation and Banco Caixa Angola, reveals that \u200benrollment ends on the 31st of May.\u200b\u200b<\/p>\n

The prize is a tribute to the poet Anto\u0301nio Agostinho Neto, the first President of the Republic of Angola, and is aimed at Angolan authors with or without published work, aiming to promote the symbolic and imaginary enrichment of the Portuguese language through speech literary.<\/p>\n

\u200bIt also serves to encourage literary creation among national authors, as well as to ensure the regular and widespread appearance of new works.<\/p>\n

Thus, throughout its existence, 14 prizes were awarded, nine\u200bin prose and \u200bfour in poetry, as well as four honorable mentions,\u200bthree \u200bin poetry and one in prose, marking the publication of 17 titles.<\/p>\n

In this context, the organization of the award invites everyone to participate in the edition of the award to honor its patron and contribute to the continuous enhancement of Angolan Literature.<\/p>\n
