Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The municipal administration of Cacuaco will build a bridge this year between the sectors Camassunda and Bom Pastor, in the urban district of Mulenvos, in Luanda, the governor of Luanda, Manuel Homem revealed yesterday.<\/b><\/p>\n

The two sectors are separated by a gap of almost 20 meters that makes mobility difficult for the inhabitants who circulate between the two points, which are also connected to the Parai\u0301so and Kikolo neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n

Speaking during a visit, Governor Manuel Homem said that the project is already included in the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities and the entire sequential process is in progress.<\/p>\n

More than 20,000 people pass through this gap daily, according to the administration of the urban district of Mulenvos, which, from the outset, requires the urgent construction of a bridge\u201d, as defended by Maria Ventura, inhabitant of the Camassunda sector.<\/p>\n

\u201cCirculation in this ditch is done on foot. There are no conditions for the traffic of vehicles and motorcycles in this space. All goods are transported manually, which results in many constraints\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

On a verification visit since Monday (10) to the urban district of Mulenvos, the governor of the Province of Luanda reserved to listen to the communities in the sectors of Mulenvos de Baixo, Bakongos and Block 43.<\/p>\n

During the dialogue with the communities, Manuel Homem noted points in common, such as cases of delinquency, lack of hospitals, schools and home water connection.<\/p>\n

In this sense, the governor of Luanda guaranteed that \u201cthere are concrete projects registered for construction later this year to cover the deficits in all these sectors.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSpaces have already been identified where the library and community kitchen will be created in the next few days, reinforcing the work already done by the local administration\u201d, he assured.<\/p>\n

The governor of Luanda is, since Monday, working in the Parai\u0301so neighborhood with the aim of meeting with the community, with individuals, noting the economic, criminal, cultural, political, social and citizenship reality.<\/p>\n

On his five-day working visit, Manuel is accompanied by various services provided by GPL to the citizen, with emphasis on civil registration, legalization of motorcycle taxi services, health, recreation, among other services.<\/p>\n
