Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The governor of Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, visited the municipality of Bundas, where he verified the real situation of the communes, within the scope of the proposed new Political-Administrative Division.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, Ernesto Muangala made a positive assessment during the two days of work (Wednesday and Thursday) in that municipality and considered his visit important, which allowed him to observe closely the conditions of each of the communes, taking into account the vision of the new Political-Administrative Division that provides for the division of Moxico into two provinces.<\/p>\n

He stressed that the rise of communes to the category of municipalities has historical significance and allows the authorities to improve the conditions of access roads, supply of drinking water, electricity and the functioning of health units and teaching establishments.<\/p>\n

According to the governor, there were so many difficulties encountered, but he reassured the population by promising that with the elevation of these communes to municipalities, the localities will have their own budget capable of solving some of these problems.<\/p>\n

Asked about mobile telephony coverage in these communes, Ernesto Muangala said that the Executive had invested more than US$350 million in the construction of ANGOSA-2, adding that everything was being done so that the whole country would be covered in the near future.<\/p>\n

The governor said that the 2023 General State Budget was approved on February 13 and its execution only started at the end of March, as has been usual in all periods leading up to the elections.<\/p>\n

“We are going to solve all these problems, we are still at the beginning of the mandate, much has been done, but we still have many challenges ahead”, he underlined.<\/p>\n

To minimize the lack of medicine, Ernesto Muangala delivered two kits composed of several drugs to serve the population of the commune of Lutembo and Luvei.<\/p>\n
