Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Tied at one victory each, 1.o de Agosto and Petro de Luanda will decide at 18:30 this Monday, who will lead the series of five games scheduled for the final in the \u201cplay-offs\u201d of the National Senior Men’s Basketball Championship.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the first game, the \u201csoldiers, placed fourth in the previous edition, surprised with a victory of 76-71, a challenge that recorded the breaking of the unbeaten record of coach Jose\u0301 Neto at Petro’s service, two years later.<\/p>\n

In the second, the \u201ctricolors\u201d, champions in title, equaled with a triumph of 90-71, further fueling the expectations of the fans.<\/p>\n

This challenge, to be disputed in the Cidadela pavilion, will oppose a Petro ridden by coach Jose\u0301 Neto already in the perspective of the African Championship, which will dispute from the 26th of this month, in Egypt, whose objective is to conquer the title, after a third and second places in previous editions.<\/p>\n

On the side of 1.o de Agosto, coach Lazare Adingono is still in the process of creating a new identity, thanks to the less good period resulting from the financial problems that the club is experiencing, resulting in greater investment in the assets of the training school.<\/p>\n

In two games, Petro was without two leading players expelled for aggression against the opponent, namely, the winger Gerson Domingos and the North American center, Damian Hollis.<\/p>\n

1o de Agosto has won 19 titles against 15 for Petro de Luanda, which won the last three editions.<\/p>\n

The rider Bruno Fanc\u0327ony, from the province of Benguela, won this Sunday the Youth Grand Prix in motorcycling DT 50 CC, disputed in the municipality of Bai\u0301a Farta.<\/p>\n

In the following places (second and third) were Dabaleza Andre\u0301 and Victor Carlos, both also from the province of Benguela.<\/p>\n

The race had the participation of 30 pilots from the provinces of Cuanza Sul, Huambo, Bie\u0301, Hui\u0301la and the hostess.<\/p>\n

Bruno Fancony considered the race to be very close, on a demanding circuit with above average riders.<\/p>\n

According to the winner, the riders had a competitive level of a lot of adrenaline, but their physical and technical condition of the motorcycle made it possible to snatch the trophy.<\/p>\n

According to the pilot, he will continue to work for the next competitions in order to maintain the invesibility.<\/p>\n

However, pilot Dabeleza Andre\u0301, who led the race for ten laps, said that technical problems led him to give up the lead.<\/p>\n

Dabaleza took the opportunity to launch a cry for help to the local business community, in order to support the modality.<\/p>\n

The municipal administrator of Bai\u0301a Farta, Rosalina Cassissa, promised to continue to support initiatives of this kind, in order to help spread motor sport, one of the great passions of youth.<\/p>\n

Waldemar Albano wins cycling competition in the sub-23 category<\/p>\n

Cyclist Waldemar Albano, from Escola Pepino, was the big winner of the under-23 closed circuit race, 28 kilometers long, also held at the municipal headquarters of Bai\u0301a Farta.<\/p>\n

Leonardo Valente, from Transchipeta do Lobito, and Rafael Amo\u0303es, from Escola Penino, occupied the immediate places on the podium.<\/p>\n

In the Master 40 category, Walter Pepino was the winner, followed by Carlos Gomes and Damy Gomes.<\/p>\n

In the Master 30, Walter da Silva, Joa\u0303o Feliciano and Ivan Baptista, were in the first, second and third positions, respectively.<\/p>\n

In the cadet category, Diego Pepino was the winner, followed by Alexandre Costa and Edmilson Cravid. CRB<\/p>\n

Until today, it is still not known, at least officially, any pronouncement from the management of the two clubs, much less from the Angolan Basketball Federation in the face of behavior contrary to the principles of “fair-play”, as recommended by the Intrnacional Olympic Committee.<\/p>\n
