Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Ugandan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Henry Okello, this Tuesday in Luanda expressed his country’s interest in exchanging experiences in the management of industrial parks with Angola.<\/b><\/p>\n

This intention was demonstrated at the end of a visit to the Special Economic Zone (ZEE), having emphasized that there is also an industrial zone in his country and, for this reason, he took advantage of his presence in Angola to be able to contact how the ZEE works and is managed and make connections so that there is a partnership between the industrial parks of the two countries.<\/p>\n

The leader was satisfied with the functioning of the Special Economic Zone, as it is a place where the national production chain is supplied by the dynamics of the factories installed in this industrial park.<\/p>\n

He recalled that Angola is very strong in oil production and that his country started to extract this product, not long ago, so they also came to take advantage of this experience in this oil field.<\/p>\n

Henry Okello also referred that they are in the country to address issues on economic diversification, an important factor for the dynamics of the economy, in the certainty that they will leave with good indicators for the future benefits of both peoples.<\/p>\n

Located in East Africa and with an estimated population of more than 48 million inhabitants, Uganda’s economy is based on agriculture, where maize, bananas, sweet potatoes, sugar cane, cassava and beans are produced.<\/p>\n
