Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Institute of Industrial Development and Technological Innovation of Angola (IDIIA) intends to deepen the existing partnership with the company Distribuidora Angolana de Recursos Tecnolo\u0301gico (DART), in order to train professionals in the sector in matters of technological innovation. <\/b><\/p>\n

According to the director of IDIIA, Filomena de Oliveira, the cooperation between the two institutions aims, essentially, to add other valences to the existing technological training centers in the country and to reinforce the qualification of young industrialists, bringing added value to Industry, in particular.<\/p>\n

In addition, the official also mentioned that the knowledge to be acquired by professionals will also be disseminated to industrialists, with a view to achieving efficiency in the management of their resources and quality of products and services.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, on the sidelines of a meeting between companies distributing and selling technological equipment, promoted this Thursday, in Luanda, by DART, the director-general made it known that, currently, IDIIA manages 22 industrial poles and seven rural industrial poles (three built) in the country.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the director general of DART, Ma\u0301rio Nelson Santos, was available to supply technological equipment and provide technical assistance, as well as provide training to IDIIA professionals, in addition to other interested partners.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to adapt to the new reality the agreement signed between DART and IDIIA, in previous years, to continue providing technical assistance and training cycles to professionals, to develop this sector\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n

To reinforce the partnership between companies that sell technological equipment in Angola, DART promoted a “network” (contact meeting) with its partners, which was attended by Lenovo’s representative in SADC, Ruben Naicker, who is in working visit to Angola.<\/p>\n

Created a year ago, IDIIA’s mission is to boost industrial activity by promoting favorable conditions for industrial location and supporting the development of industrial projects. Its existence results from the merger between the former Institute of Industrial Development and the National Institute of Technological Innovation.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, DART is a company incorporated under Angolan law whose mission is to distribute technological equipment from the multinational Lenovo, such as personal computers, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, among other means, to companies that sell these materials in the country.<\/p>\n
