Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan Government authorized, on Thursday, the construction of 1,500 social housing to rehouse families in a situation of social vulnerability, very precarious conditions, imminent risk of outbreaks, endemic diseases of all kinds, subject to the most diverse tents and sheet metal houses between Zango 3 and Zango 5, in Luanda. <\/b><\/p>\n

According to an order published on the Government Portal, the expenditure for the construction of these houses was authorized by the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, in the global amount, in kwanzas, equivalent to seventy-five million, seven hundred and nine thousand, five hundred and fifty-five dollars and eighty cents.<\/p>\n

The order states that the contract for the preparation of the project and coordination of the contract is in the global value, in kwanzas, equivalent to two million, four hundred and fifty-four thousand, six hundred and eighty-six dollars and eighty-five cents.<\/p>\n

For the works inspection contract, the Executive will spend a global amount, in kwanzas, equivalent to one million, seven hundred and fifty-three thousand, three hundred and forty-seven dollars and seventy-five cents.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing is delegated competence, with the option to sub-delegate, for the approval of the parts of the Emergency Contracting Procedure based on material criteria, as well as for the verification of the validity and legality of all the acts carried out.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Finance must ensure the necessary financial resources for the implementation of the contracts, as well as the registration of projects in the Public Investment Program (PIP).<\/p>\n
