Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan Head of State, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, held this Friday, in Luanda, a private meeting with his Cape Verdean counterpart, Jose\u0301 Maria Neves, in which they addressed issues of common interest, within the framework of cooperation relations between the two countries.<\/b><\/p>\n

Angola and Cape Verde are members of the African Portuguese Speaking Countries (PALOP), the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) and the African Union (AU).<\/p>\n

Both maintain cooperation relations in the fields of Education, Defence, Security, Transport, Health and Trade.<\/p>\n

The formalization of political-diplomatic relations between Angola and Cape Verde took place on August 30, 1977, two years after Angolan independence.<\/p>\n

The Cape Verdean statesman is in Luanda, on a private basis, to participate Friday, in the gala of the 1st edition of the 2023 Forbes Social Responsibility Awards for Angola, whose winners will be revealed at the event, to take place in one of the hotels in capital.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1917, ‘Forbes’, a biweekly publication, is an American business and economics magazine owned by Forbes, Inc.<\/p>\n

The magazine features original articles and reports on finance, industry, investment and marketing .<\/p>\n

Despite not being its focus, it also publishes articles related to technology, communication, law and other sciences.<\/p>\n
