Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The agricultural irrigation system, supply of electricity and drinking water to rural communities from a mini-hydro that works through a solar panel won, this Saturday, the 2nd edition of the Technological Innovation Fair (FIT) of Ui\u0301ge .<\/b><\/p>\n

Dalta zona, an application for promoting tourism in the country, was ranked second, while the television project for showing national history in cartoons ranked third.<\/p>\n

The contest, an initiative of the Technological Center of Ui\u0301ge (CFTU), in collaboration with the Association of Young Volunteers Entrepreneurs of Computer Engineering (AJVEEI), had the participation of 25 competitors.<\/p>\n

Exhibitors presented technological solutions in the areas of education, health, management of the Civil Protection and Fire Service, water control, human brain, mobile telephony and other projects.<\/p>\n

Of the first eight classified, only three platforms won the contest, classification that will allow the participation, in September this year, in Luanda, in the national contest.<\/p>\n

Those classified received participation diplomas, mobile phones, computers, Zap kits and other electronic equipment.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the closing act, the director of the Technological Center of Ui\u0301ge, Virgi\u0301lio Cordeiro Joa\u0303o, said that the 2nd edition of FIT was an added value for the province, justifying that it made it possible to interact with institutions that are committed to the field of Information Technologies and Communication (ICTs).<\/p>\n

The official said that the CFTU will continue to work towards the creation of other technological solutions, aimed at solving various problems that affect the communities.<\/p>\n
