Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Reinforcing cohesion in family relationships based on cultural values \u200b\u200bis essential for building a solid society, said sociologist Piedade Figueiredo this Monday in Luena, Moxico province.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking at the 24th session of the Municipal Family Council, promoted by the Administration of Moxico, under the motto \u201cSocial Inclusion of families, well-being and dignity for all\u201d, he recalled that the family plays an important role in the formation of the individual and in the development of society, therefore, encouraging peaceful coexistence in this social structure.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe family as the base nucleus of society is the first social group in which all human beings form their personality and establish the pillars for human relationships\u201d, he reiterated.<\/p>\n

The municipal administrator of Moxico (headquarters), Hora\u0301cio Satchamuaha, was concerned about the phenomenon of the breakdown of many families in the region, characterized mainly by the escape from paternity and domestic violence.<\/p>\n

Official data indicate that the municipality of Moxico registered from January to the present date 65 cases of domestic violence and evasion of paternity provided mainly by personnel of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) and the National Police, they lead.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, he appealed to families to encourage their children to promote a culture of preserving the environment.<\/p>\n

The municipality of Moxico (seat), which includes the city of Luena, is inhabited by more than 460,000 inhabitants.<\/p>\n
