Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A collective exhibition of plastic arts with approximately 100 works entitled “Intersections”, was opened to the public, on Saturday, in Luanda, in a hotel unit, under the auspices of Afrikanizm Art and Face Studio<\/b><\/p>\n

These are the works of national artists Ro\u0301mulo Santa Rita, Walter Fernandes, Joyce Jazz, Armanda Alves, Wilson Bellas, Mumpasi Meso, Erika Ja\u0302mece, Lino Damia\u0303o and Bolondo, which portray various realities of the country, from urban, peri-urban and rural areas. .<\/p>\n

The CEO of Afrikanizm Art, Joa\u0303o Boavida, said that the exhibition, which will remain open until the 21st of this month, is part of a set of exhibitions that will take place throughout the year in the country.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that the event had a pre-opening last Thursday, with a jazz performance by local artists and with a national gastronomic moment for restricted guests.<\/p>\n

With free entrance, he said that the exhibition aims to make known the works of Angolan artists who are going beyond the boundaries of traditional artistic conventions, thus exploring the dynamic and innovative world of contemporary African art.<\/p>\n

He noted that in the works, the artists explored the intersection of different media, from painting to collage, using a variety of techniques to express their ideas, identity, social problems and cultural heritage, reflecting the complex history of Angola and of your people.<\/p>\n

He added that, in the first two days, more than seven hundred people had visited, with 85% of the works being able to be sold.<\/p>\n

Afrikanizm Art Platform, founded in August 2021 by the Angolans Laura Leal and Joa\u0303o Boavida, is an Angolan start-up that focuses on the appreciation and expansion of contemporary African art and its artists.<\/p>\n
