Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The three winners of the categories of the International Association of Portuguese-Speaking Communications Award (AICEP), 2023 edition, were awarded this Monday night in Luanda, in an act chaired by the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication , Mario Oliveira.<\/b><\/p>\n

The award ceremony, which took place within the framework of the Annual General Meeting and the XXX Forum of AICEP for Lusophone Communications 2023, awarded, for the category of “Innovation”, the company UNITEL T+ from Cape Verde, with the project “Unitek \u201d, an innovation laboratory that works as a program to accelerate the incubation of technological projects.<\/p>\n

Nuno Miguel Terras Marques, chairman of the Executive Board of the \u201cVisabeira SGPS\u201d group, was awarded in the \u201cLeadership\u201d category and, in the \u201cCareer\u201d category, the Angolan Jose\u0301 Gualberto de Matos.<\/p>\n

The general director of Unitel Cabo Verde, Inoweze Ferreira, spoke of the bets made by the company in terms of innovation, having stated that innovation is a survival vehicle for Unitel.<\/p>\n

He said that the company unites the realization of different things with sustainable ones, such as the creation of an innovation ecosystem that can serve the African continent. \u201cWe have several ideas on our continent, we need to put them into practice, to put projects to work, creating entrepreneurship\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

For the chairman of the Executive Board of the \u201cVisabeira SGPS\u201d group, TVcabo Angola, Nuno Marques, teamwork was important for leadership to work, capacity and team spirit was fundamental for the recognition of the manager, according to him.<\/p>\n

Jose\u0301 Gualberto de Matos spoke of AICEP’s ability to unite countries since the most difficult times, after independence, allowing the exchange of experience to be exercised within the operators, as well as the creation of environments for professionals in the field to interact annually.<\/p>\n

For his part, the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Ma\u0301rio Oliveira, said that AICEP has been working with a view to developing the sector, in terms of exchanging experiences and training staff, considering important pillars in valuing the community Portuguese official language.<\/p>\n

Ma\u0301rio Oliveira referred that Portuguese speakers have a significant representation worldwide, which is why the international union of telecommunications must be felt in terms of decisions.<\/p>\n

AICEP is made up of Angola, Brazil, Portugal, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Sa\u0303o Tome\u0301 and Pri\u0301ncipe, East Timor, Guinea Bissau and Macau.<\/p>\n
