Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Government proceeds, this Friday, in Luanda, the presentation and public consultation for the finalization of the process of Revision and Extension of the Long Term Strategy (ELP) 2025 to 2050 (ELP – Angola 2050).<\/b><\/p>\n

A note from the Institutional Communication and Press Office of the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP), underlines that on Friday the ELP – Angola 2050 will be launched with the intention of obtaining contributions from major public actors and private individuals \u2013 collective and individual \u2013 with high experience and knowledge in the different sectors of activity.<\/p>\n

The document says that the Long-Term Strategy is the basic tool for preparing the National Development Plan (PDN), which presents the strategic options for the country’s long-term development, being prepared based on analysis of scenarios, for levels national, sectoral and territorial.<\/p>\n

The strategy will bring a global vision to Angola and its role at the international level in the next 30 years, presenting five (5) priority axes of development such as \u201ca diversified and prosperous economy\u201d, \u201cmodern and competitive infrastructure\u201d, \u201csociety that values \u200b\u200band enhances its human capital\u201d.<\/p>\n

The axes \u201cresilient and sustainable ecosystem\u201d and \u201ca fair nation with equal opportunities\u201d are also included.<\/p>\n

For the 19th of May, according to the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the KICK-OFF Meeting is planned, with International Organizations, Development Agencies and Diplomatic Missions, and with the Private Sector.<\/p>\n

The events close on the 23rd of May, in a meeting with Civil Society and Social Communication, at the National Institute of Statistics (INE).<\/p>\n
