Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Ma\u0301rio Oliveira, considered, this Friday, in Luanda, the implementation of the free trade zone in Africa an ambitious plan for the creation of goods and services.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking at the opening of the conference on \u201cAfrican Origins of Contemporary Brazil: Histories, Languages, Cultures and Civilizations\u201d, organized by Edic\u0327o\u0303es Novembro, within the framework of Africa Day, he said that after its complete implementation, it will deepen the economic integration of the continent.<\/p>\n

According to the official, it will also be the largest free trade area in the world, with a combined Gross Domestic Product of around 3.4 million US dollars.<\/p>\n

He referred that the African Union’s 2063 agenda constitutes a robust structure to deal with the injustices of the past and the achievement of the 21st century as an African, with the contribution of the African diaspora through initiatives that speak about the continent.<\/p>\n

He underlined that the conference constitutes a valuable contribution to a dignified commemoration of this important event in the country, having congratulated Edic\u0327o\u0303es Novembro for holding the event.<\/p>\n

The event was witnessed by the former Vice-President of the Republic, Bornito de Sousa, presidents of the boards of directors of public media, academics, students, journalists, among others.<\/p>\n
