Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The pastor of the 1st Baptist Church of Huambo, Carlos Manuel Chiliva, pointed out, this Sunday, the psychological and social transformation of citizens for the common well-being, as the main objective of the religious institution at local level.<\/b><\/p>\n

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Church’s existence in Huambo, he said that the religious denomination wants to be increasingly present in the lives of families, so that they have a positive impact on their daily lives. society day.<\/p>\n

The religious stressed that the church will work so that citizens have good behavior not only inside the temples, but also in the place of service and in other forums of society in the country.<\/p>\n

The church, continued the pastor, must fully support the most vulnerable people, with emotional and social problems, without any food for a healthy life, as the government will not be able to do everything alone.<\/p>\n

Carlos Manuel Chiliva said that the 90th anniversary of the 1st Baptist Church in Huambo means a new beginning for people who are far from God, for a new way of living, unconditionally practicing the common good.<\/p>\n

Founded on May 21, 1933, by a couple of Portuguese nationality, Manuel Ferreira Pedras and Das Dors Ferreira Pedras, the 1st Baptist Church of Huambo, located in the upper part of the city, has 550 members, including women, men and children.<\/p>\n
