Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Provincial Government of Luanda has 60,000 places available in the markets to serve saleswomen who work in inappropriate places, said this Monday, the spokeswoman for the process, Na\u0301dia Neto. <\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking at a press conference, the official said that the Trade Restructuring Plan in Luanda province is not aimed at combating “zunga”, but selling in unauthorized places, including sidewalks.<\/p>\n

The spokeswoman pointed out that both the registration process and the placement of these salespeople in the markets is free.<\/p>\n

Na\u0301dia Neto stressed that each saleswoman will have the opportunity to choose the market in which she wants to be included.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are just concentrating on creating all the conditions for them to come and sell in places authorized by the Provincial Government of Luanda\u201d, he asserted.<\/p>\n

As for the time that the registration will take, the spokeswoman said that it still does not have a closing date and that it is taking place daily, from 8 am to 6 pm in the Sa\u0303o Paulo market.<\/p>\n

It should be recalled that the Trade Reorganization Plan, under way at the level of the province of Luanda, since January this year, aims to eliminate the constraints resulting from sales in inappropriate places and the proliferation of illegal retreadings, as well as reorganizing taxi stops and auto cars.<\/p>\n

Against the aforementioned plan, on Monday morning more than 500 saleswomen protested by marching through some streets in the city of Luanda.<\/p>\n
