Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Thirty-five business intentions and various partnerships, valued at 10 million Kwanzas, were carried out in two days by 63 exhibitors participating in the II edition of the Information and Communication Technologies Fair (TIC-Huambo\/2023).<\/b><\/p>\n

These are public and private institutions, inventors and other individuals from the provinces of Bie\u0301, Cuando Cubango, Huambo, Hui\u0301la and Zaire, who have demonstrated their creativity and technological innovation in terms of products and services provided to citizens, in addition to the creation of partnerships and business opportunities.<\/p>\n

Held in the courtyard adjacent to the Osvaldo Serra Vam-Du\u0301nem pavilion, under the motto \u201cResponsible use of digital services, for better technological inclusion\u201d, the event was marked by lectures on \u201cCybernetic security\u201d and \u201cImpact of ICT for self-employment\u201d.<\/p>\n

At the end, the director of the Registry and Administrative Modernization office of Huambo province, Abel Lucamba, said that the event demonstrated the impact of ICT in combating poverty and in the innovation of services and products provided by public and private institutions.<\/p>\n

According to the official, the event, which had 3,000 visitors, served to present what exhibitors from the provinces of Cuando Cubango, Huambo, Hui\u0301la and Zaire can explore in the field of ICT, for an improvement in the work provided to citizens.<\/p>\n

He stated that partnerships and business intentions, as well as innovations in services and the sale of different products, will leverage institutions and contribute to improving the well-being of citizens.<\/p>\n

Promoted by the Registry and Administrative Modernization office of the province of Huambo, the fair was held in reference to the 17th of May, World Internet, Telecommunications and Information Society Day.<\/p>\n

The first edition of the activity in Huambo took place in 2019.<\/p>\n
