Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The XII Extraordinary Meeting of CPLP Ministers of Education recommended, this Wednesday, in Luanda, the improvement of the quality of national education systems, based on the principle of multilateralism.<\/b><\/p>\n

This aim, advances the final communique\u0301, will only be achieved through the procedure on the part of its education agents, in the survey, systematization and definition of concrete actions, in the sense of taking advantage of the exchange opportunities available, at the level of international organizations.<\/p>\n

In turn, the Minister of Education, Lui\u0301sa Grilo, was satisfied with the result of the meeting, as well as the launch of “Escolas Amigas da CPLP”.<\/p>\n

As for the debates, he underlined the issue of teacher training, as well as the refreshment of school managers, an act that he considers to be a joint action.<\/p>\n

As for the challenges, Lui\u0301sa Grilo mentioned that it involves the massification of school sports at community level, in order to provide greater interactivity in the community.<\/p>\n

The meeting was opened by the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperanc\u0327a Costa, who in her speech proposed the promotion of literacy in terms of Communication Technologies and Scientific Research in the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP).<\/p>\n

He also considered that education constitutes the basis for sustainable development, in the most varied domains within the community.<\/p>\n

On his turn, still at the opening of the works, the director of Cultural Action and Portuguese Language of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), Joa\u0303o Ima-Panzo, referred that six, of the ten axes of the Strategic Plan of Multilateral Cooperation in the field of CPLP Education, for the 2022-2026 quadrennium, are making good progress in their implementation.<\/p>\n

During the meeting of CPLP education ministers, the project called \u201cCPLP Friendly Schools\u201d was also launched.<\/p>\n

This structure aims to promote the community, contributing to the civic and democratic formation of its members, supporting Human Rights, favoring friendship, cooperation, dialogue between peoples and, very particularly, the promotion and dissemination of the Portuguese language.<\/p>\n

The Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries, founded on July 17, 1996, is an international organization formed by Portuguese-speaking countries, whose objective is the “deepening of mutual friendship and cooperation between its members”.<\/p>\n
