Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The bishop of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the World (the Tocoistas), Afonso Nunes, exhorted Sunday, in Luanda, all young people to engage in training and to be polyvalent and versatile in order to contribute to a more prosperous Angola.<\/b><\/p>\n

The religious leader made this statement during the homily of a thanksgiving service for his distinction on the 26th of May, in France, with the Euro-African prize for Professional Training and Valorization of Skills and Talents of the Diaspora in Europe.<\/p>\n

According to Bishop Afonso Nunes, young people should not go to school simply to get diplomas because, according to him, that alone is not enough.<\/p>\n

For Bishop Afonso Nunes, today’s world needs young people who know how to read the signs of the times, who know how to be multifaceted, capable of being entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

According to the religious, it is necessary that young people do not lose hope of having a job because nowadays there are people who, with a simple telephone, are able to create companies and earn money.<\/p>\n

What is needed, he exemplified, is for young people to be polyvalent, versatile and multifaceted, who are concerned, who sleep and wake up thinking about positive things for their lives and for the country.<\/p>\n
