Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Economic operators defend greater digital inclusion in the business world, to maximize the income of micro companies and ensure the development of the local economy, said yesterday the coordinator of the Informal Economy Reconversion Program (PREI), Carla Serra\u0303o.<\/b><\/p>\n

Currently, the PREI project controls around five hundred companies, with digital inclusion in business, a number that falls short of the existing demand in the country, taking into account that 91 percent of the entrepreneurial population in the informal market does not have bank accounts.<\/p>\n

In this way, he pointed out that the five hundred companies with digital inclusion, located in six provinces, among which Luanda, Malanje, Hui\u0301la, Benguela, have more profitability in business and competitiveness among micro companies.<\/p>\n

The official, who was speaking during the workshop on \u201cDigital and gender inclusion in micro-businesses\u201d, explained that, in the first instance, the intention is to increase the level of financial banking.<\/p>\n

Carla Ferra\u0303o stressed that the intention to leverage business expansion digitally will provide the best price quality, taking into account that it stimulates competitiveness among entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

The migration of companies to digital environments and tools – no matter the size of the organization, is a fact, having highlighted that the process will only accelerate.<\/p>\n

Platforms such as chat and video conferencing, such as Whatsapp, Zoom or Google Meet, have become the center of many small businesses.<\/p>\n

Allied to this, he indicated that 100% digital means of payment, e-commerce, education and remote work are also tools and processes that are here to stay and, naturally, will still evolve and improve.<\/p>\n

Small business companies from the most varied market segments participated in the workshop.<\/p>\n
