Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>At least twenty-five thousand stands are still available in different markets in the municipality of Cazenga, to welcome vendors who work in inappropriate places.<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was confirmed Saturday, in Luanda, by the Provincial Director of the Integrated Cabinet for Economic Activities, Dorivaldo Ada\u0303o, during a meeting with religious leaders from the district.<\/p>\n

After remembering that it was necessary to reorganize and regularize the traveling and wholesale activity, in which the latter cannot be exercised in urban areas, the person in charge announced the exemption from payment of the daily fee, for 90 days, to those who go to the indicated places, to to make the business profitable.<\/p>\n

Attention was drawn to the fact that many of the warehouses are installed in inappropriate locations, because the wholesale activity requires that it be carried out in a space of 300 square meters, a situation that does not happen, wrongly motivating the precariously packaging of products.<\/p>\n

He admitted the reopening of some retail establishments, depending on inspections carried out, to assess the minimum requirements, but wholesalers will not be able to continue in urban areas.<\/p>\n

On his own initiative, he pointed out that wholesalers should locate spaces in the permitted areas.<\/p>\n

For his part, the municipal administrator of Cazenga, Toma\u0301s Bica Mumbundo, considers that negative behavior cannot be normalized, which is why he calls on church leaders to raise concern among the faithful, many of whom have this type of behavior.<\/p>\n

He recalled that \u201cthe Government is not against wholesale and street sales\u201d, but only intends to reorganize them, to improve the image and health in the capital city.<\/p>\n

Toma\u0301s Bica deplored the fact that some businessmen are \u201cmajor producers of solid waste\u201d and do not have contracts with operators for its collection, as well as insurance to safeguard the business in the event of a possible fire.<\/p>\n

The reverend of the African Alliance Church, Jacinto Augusto, representing the other religious leaders, showed willingness to support the awareness of believers for behavior change, since the benefit of the measure is for the community.<\/p>\n

He recognized that there was already a change in the circulation of vehicles and people between the neighborhoods of Hoji Ya Henda (Cazenga) and Sa\u0303o Paulo (Urban District of Sambizanga), using Avenida Ngola Kiluanje.<\/p>\n

Cazenga, with more than two million inhabitants, has six Urban Districts such as Hoji Ya Henda, Kima Kieza, 11 de Novembro, Cazenga Popular, Tala Hadi and Calawenda.<\/p>\n
