Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Filipe Zau, said, in Luanda, that his department is trying to find mechanisms that can resolve the issue of employability of musicians in the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the official, due to the absence of concert halls and a cultural agenda, the ministry brought together the Association of Hotels and Risorts of Angola (AHRA) and the National Union of Artists and Composers (UNAC-SA).<\/p>\n

From this meeting, according to Filipe Zau, who was speaking to the press at the end of a visit by the deputies of the Seventh Commission of the National Assembly to his ministry, resulted in the signing of a memorandum that allows artists to have continuous activities within a cultural agenda that hotels may have.<\/p>\n

For the official, with this mechanism found, the country will be able to employ musicians, dancers, plastic artists, theater actors and also cultural agenda in hotels, risorts and restaurants in the cities of Luanda, Benguela and Huambo.<\/p>\n

In turn, the chairman of the seventh commission of the National Assembly, Paulo Faria, explained that the purpose of the visit to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism was to establish bridges of dialogue to ascertain the levels of execution of projects considered as priorities in this department.<\/p>\n

The Seventh Commission of the National Assembly is responsible for matters of culture, religion, social communication and youth and sports.<\/p>\n
