Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Court of Auditors (TC) will follow the normal ritual of its work obligations, within the framework of the Constitution and the law in force in the Republic of Angola, guaranteed this Monday, in Luanda, the Judge Counselor President of the institution, Sebastia\u0303o Domingo Gunza.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cNothing is exceptional than what a court represents. Therefore, at the jurisdictional level, there is a specific ritual that must be followed\u201d, said Sebastia\u0303o Gunza, in statements to the press, shortly after being sworn in to the new functions.<\/p>\n

Monday, the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, swore in the new Presidential Judge of the Court of Auditors, Sebastia\u0303o Domingos Gunza, and four other judges of the same body.<\/p>\n

Sebastia\u0303o Gunza underlined that, without prejudice to deadlines, the TC will work to speed up recurring processes and improve its procedures.<\/p>\n

\u201cCertainly, where necessary, we will evaluate and re-evaluate the processes, without prejudice to the jurisdictional independence of each judge, as is evident\u201d, he explained.<\/p>\n

He stated that with his colleagues, venerable advisors of the TC, they will carry out a global assessment of the current state of the institution so that the human resources sector will know its real needs.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnly then will we take measures to contribute to raising the level of this very important segment, in order to organize the activity of the Court of Auditors\u201d, he underlined.<\/p>\n

Before taking office, the President of the Republic, in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces, after hearing the National Security Council, granted licensing for the reform of Sebastia\u0303o Domingos Gunza, who holds the rank of Commissioner-Chief of the National Police .<\/p>\n

At the same ceremony, witnessed by the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperanc\u0327a da Costa, by ministers of State, ministers and members of higher instances of Justice, a Judge Counselor of the Supreme Court was also sworn in.<\/p>\n
