Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A residential fiber broadband internet service, called \u201cMaxnet\u201d, was installed a few days ago in the central Fernando Faustino Muteka, in the municipality of Caa\u0301la, province of Huambo, by the telecommunications company Grupo Paratus.<\/b><\/p>\n

In a note sent this Monday, the telecommunications company informs that it is an action aimed at expanding internet services in Huambo province, to reinforce the digital inclusion of the local population.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe arrival of Maxnet will allow the more than 20,000 inhabitants of the centrality of Caa\u0301la to have access to ultra-fast internet, between 10 and 20 megs, according to the contract plan, with a stable connection and a high level of security\u201d, says the note. .<\/p>\n

It indicates that it installed a \u201cstate-of-the-art\u201d fiber optic system in the center of Fernando Faustino Muteka, which allows access to \u201cMaxnet\u201d, which is \u201cA highly competitive and reliable service for families and companies, supplying, above all, the residential portion in urban areas and further away from city centers.<\/p>\n

In Huambo, continues the document, Grupo Paratus has already installed the fiber optic network in the Centrality of Lossambo, since August 2021, the first to receive \u201cMaxnet\u201d services in the country.<\/p>\n

With Caa\u0301la’s residential fiber broadband Internet service, it can be read that more than 30,000 homes in central areas in the country already have \u201cMaxnet\u201d services at their disposal.<\/p>\n

In addition to Huambo, Grupo Paratus’ Maxnet service is available in the provinces of Bengo, Bie\u0301, Cabinda, Cuanza Sul and Luanda.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2023 under the name ITA, Paratus is a telecommunications company that is investing in infrastructure and establishing itself as a key player in providing integrated network services across Africa.<\/p>\n

It has an extensive network of satellite services, focused on connectivity and is present in 30 African countries, connecting thousands of remote customers.<\/p>\n
