Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The preparation by the community of priority actions to be implemented in 2024, within the scope of the Integrated Plan of Intervention in Municipalities, PIIM, was one of the recommendations of the government of Bengo, to the community of Tabi.<\/b><\/p>\n

This recommendation was made this Monday, in the municipality of Ambriz, by the governor of the province, Maria Anto\u0301nia Nelumba, after listening to the concerns presented by the population, in the Communal Council of consultation with the community.<\/p>\n

Among the concerns is the improvement of access roads, health, education, electricity, drinking water, nurseries and transport for the disposal of production.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs part of the preparation of the PIIM for 2024, the priorities will be identified by the population since the needs are many and the financial resources are scarce\u201d, he pointed out.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are going to plan better and prioritize what is most urgent\u201d, he underlined.<\/p>\n

For this reason, he asked for the active participation of the population in the development of the region, in order to improve social conditions.<\/p>\n

Regarding the dispersion of villages in the locality, he asked the traditional authorities and the presidents of the residents’ commissions to group the villages in order to facilitate the government in the execution of social projects.<\/p>\n

As for the works on the communal health centre, he informed that the existing budget will not facilitate the completion of the entire project, therefore, in a first phase, the emergencies, maternity, paediatrics, general clinic will start operating within three months.<\/p>\n

He asked the contractor to make efforts to complete the work on time.<\/p>\n

Located 85 kilometers south of the city of Caxito, capital of the province, the commune of Tabi occupies an area of \u200b\u200b1,374.5 square kilometres.<\/p>\n

It has an estimated population of 8,800,635 inhabitants distributed in eight villages, mostly dedicated to agriculture, artisanal fishing and hunting.<\/p>\n
