Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>More than 80 plots of land around the central areas of Lossambo, Fernando Faustino Muteka and Halavala, in the province of Huambo, will be subdivided and infrastructured for future commercialization by the Empresa Gestora de Terras Infra-Estruturados (EGTI).<\/b><\/p>\n

The administrator of EGTI, Kilson Gouveia, said that each centrality has its own characteristics and, for that, a study has already been carried out, which is waiting for the contribution and approval of the competent local bodies, as well as to indicate the land available.<\/p>\n

He informed that, when the document is approved, it is expected that, in a first phase, more than 80 plots of land will be available in the three centralities.<\/p>\n

Without specifying the date of the sale, the official, who was speaking after a meeting with the deputy governor of Huambo province for Technical Services and Infrastructure, Elmano Ina\u0301cio Francisco, said that access to the land will be open to the public in general, who will be invited at the right time for candidacies.<\/p>\n

It is, according to Kilson Gouveia, a process that wants to be self-sustainable, so that, as marketing takes place, more land is available to citizens.<\/p>\n

He informed that there will be land for the National Police, commerce, hospitals, schools and other essential services, so that people can live in harmony more easily.<\/p>\n

He added that the intention is to make the best possible use of the existing land around the centralities, with the aim of facilitating urbanized urban growth.<\/p>\n

This region of the Central Plateau of Angola has three centres, namely Lossambo, in the municipality of Huambo, opened in 2017, with 2009 houses, is occupied by more than 14 thousand people, Fernando Faustino Muteka, available since 2020, in Caa\u0301la , with 4001 residences and a forecast to accommodate 28 thousand residents, and Halavala, in Bailundo, opened in 2022, with 3005 houses, reserved for 21 thousand citizens.<\/p>\n

EGTI is a public company created on March 5, 2015, by Presidential Decree no 58\/15, responsible for the more rational administration of infrastructure land in the public and private domain of the Angolan State.<\/p>\n
