Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angola’s commitment to economic diplomacy and foreign policy in recent years has allowed it to improve the country’s image and attract investment in various fields, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, this Wednesday.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking on the sidelines of the second edition of the International Fair of Embassies and Cooperation, the minister said that the results are visible, adding that “we need to believe in the economic diplomacy that the Government is carrying out and not be pessimistic, especially Afro-pessimistic” .<\/p>\n

According to Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, some segments, mainly national, are following the progress of Angola from a distance and do not have the real scope of projecting the country’s image and the benefits it brings.<\/p>\n

Regarding the fair, the minister said it was yet another stage to present Angola’s potential to international partners, with particular emphasis on small entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to connect and support initiatives that move forward, for that we have to believe in the country, we need to transform our history into success\u201d, said the official.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, the president of the Associac\u0327a\u0303o do Nu\u0301cleo Positivo (ANUP), Geraldo Muquico, organizer of the fair, said that the objective is to contribute to the economic diplomacy that the country is developing and, together with diplomatic representations, seek to attract investment.<\/p>\n

The exhibition takes place from the 21st to the 23rd of the current month, under the motto “the contribution of diplomatic missions in promoting the image of Angola abroad”.<\/p>\n

Participating in the event are embassies accredited in Angola and more than 42 exhibitors.<\/p>\n
