Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, returned this Friday to Luanda, from Ui\u0301ge province, where he worked for two days.<\/b><\/p>\n

At the Luanda Military Air Base, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o received greetings from the Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Ada\u0303o de Almeida, members of the Executive, among other personalities.<\/p>\n

During his stay in Ui\u0301ge, the Head of Executive Power guided the 1st Meeting of the Local Governance Council (CGL), which was attended by the governors of the 18 provinces and heads of ministerial departments.<\/p>\n

Among other topics, the meeting, held Thursday, considered the Emergency Program for Containment of Ravines and Construction and Rehabilitation of National Roads, to contain and reduce the risk of catastrophe by landslides in all provinces of the country.<\/p>\n

On Friday, the second day of the working visit to Ui\u0301ge province, the President of the Republic went to the<\/p>\n

agricultural fair, which exposed the potential of the region in this economic field.<\/p>\n

At the fair, in addition to agricultural products, the President of the Republic said that he left satisfied with the fact that he had seen very good initiatives by young people in the technological field which, if well used and disseminated to the rest of the country, would only benefit.<\/p>\n

Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o also delivered vehicles to the municipal administrations of Puri, Damba, Songo, Mucaba and Sanza Pombo.<\/p>\n
