Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The exposure of nudity on social networks, mainly of the female fringe, can entice kidnapping phenomena and human trafficking, warned, this Friday, in Luena, Moxico province, sociologist Andre\u0301 Celestino.<\/b><\/p>\n

As part of the world social media day celebrated this Friday (30), the specialist discourages the spread of immorality on social media, causing deviations in social coexistence.<\/p>\n

He warned of the need for users of social networks to pay more attention to false profiles of people with social protagonism, created in these technological tools, with the aim of promoting scams, through promises of jobs.<\/p>\n

In turn, the computer engineer, Joa\u0303o Vasconcelos, encouraged citizens to use social networks to share knowledge for self-professionalization, as well as to promote business.<\/p>\n

He highlighted the investment of the Angolan State in the construction of technological infrastructures, highlighting the launch of Angosat 2, which could improve communication in the country and the massive use of social networks, allowing greater consumption of information.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the academic defended the creation of tools to regulate the use of social networks, to combat the phenomena of “fakenews”, scams and excessive relationships that affect a vulnerable group of people.<\/p>\n

The jurist Agostinho Machado appealed to people to remain vigilant when exposing \u201charmful\u201d images and content that affect people’s private lives, under penalty of committing crimes against honor, injury and slander, punishable under Angolan legislation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe publication of images of people without their consent can constitute a crime against the dignity of the human person\u201d, he recalled.<\/p>\n

He regretted that these crimes are recurrent in Angolan society, discouraging such practices.<\/p>\n

World social media day was created by the website Mashable in 2010, as a way to recognize the digital revolution that made media a social environment, celebrated annually on June 30.<\/p>\n
