Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The poor quality of the games and the lack of payment culture were presented (Saturday), in Luanda, as factors for the removal of sponsors in Angolan football by the economist, Daniel Sapateiro.<\/b><\/p>\n

Addressing the theme \u201cAngola and Business Opportunities\u201d, at the 3rd edition of the Angolan Sports Business Conference (CONFENDA), he referred that, as long as the show lacks quality, there will be no sport or football with the desired sustainability.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday there is already talk about the possible emergence of the League, but it is necessary that we all have the financial education for the emergence of Sports Limited Companies. There is a lack of payment culture and revenue justification, so something can change\u201d, he reiterated.<\/p>\n

He pointed out as the first solution, the resizing of national sport, in particular football, not just the constant injection of capital, without having true sponsors and regular contributions.<\/p>\n

During his communication, he suggested that shareholders or investors be well scrutinized, so that the country does not become the target of sanctions by similar bodies.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to know where the money comes from and the real intentions of this shareholder, as a way of avoiding money laundering\u201d, he warned.<\/p>\n

On the same subject, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola, Vicente Soares, admitted that a lot of money has been spent, without the intended return, due to the lack of some vision and professionalism.<\/p>\n

The third edition of CONFENDA, taking place since Friday at Memorial Agostinho Neto, in Luanda, brings together academics, sports and business managers, sportsmen and leaders of clubs, federations and associations.<\/p>\n

The event ends on Sunday.<\/p>\n
