Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The participants of the 3rd provincial meeting of bailiffs in Cuanza Sul recommended Friday, in the municipality of Cela, the deconcentration of services in the sector, with a view to guaranteeing greater speed and proximity to citizens.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the final communique\u0301 of the meeting, the participants also recommended the Ministry of Justice to make efforts to transform the “offline” civil and criminal identification offices into “online” and speed up the process of unifying the registration databases and other public administration.<\/p>\n

They defended the updating of the legislation on competences of the current municipal delegations of the civil registry and the notary or their elevation to the categories of second-class conservatories or registries, in order to combat the excess of bureaucracy and face the social and economic dynamics of the country.<\/p>\n

Likewise, they advocated the regular holding of seminars in all services in the sector, for greater dissemination of the rules contained in the Code of Conduct for Bailiffs, as well as to improve the discipline and performance of officials, for the benefit of the population.<\/p>\n

They indicated the municipality of Porto-Amboim to host, in August 2024, the IV provincial meeting of sector officials.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, the provincial delegate for Justice and Human Rights, Lino Kupenga, appealed to the court officials to maintain an exemplary behavior in the exercise of their functions, guided by the strict observance of the deontological standards of the employees and administrative agents of the sector.<\/p>\n

Under the motto “Bailiff and the challenges in improving public services”, during two days the participants analyzed the current status of the registry offices, the programs for registering births, property and cars, assigning identity cards, applying the Simplifica Project in the region, among other topics.<\/p>\n
