Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Students from the faculty of art at the Agostinho Neto University will, in this academic year 2023, defend their final work, during a show held on the 19th of July, as part of the 8th Edition of the International Theater Circuit (CIT) .<\/b><\/p>\n

This information was provided, this Friday, by the director of the International Theater Circuit, Ade\u0301rito Rodrigues, at the end of the opening ceremony of the 8th edition of the CIT, which honored the Director and director of the theater company Horizonte Nzinga Bandi, Adelino Caracol .<\/p>\n

The person in charge explained that it is an achievement of the project that will allow the students to mount plays, on a stage to present to the public and to a group of judges.<\/p>\n

He considered an exercise to be carried out at Elinga Teatro, where the participants will be classified (Positive or Negative) and have the perception of future art teachers in Angola.<\/p>\n

For that edition, according to the director, the attributions of the writing prizes for theater called \u201cJose\u0301 Mena Abrantes\u201d, \u201cMbunto da Casa\u201d and \u201cPesquisa do Mbunto\u201d were also implemented.<\/p>\n

He informed that, in this edition under the motto \u201cConhecer Angola com o Teatro\u201d, the categories of Career, CIT artist, author, actress, scenography, dramatic text, characterization, Popular Group and CIT Group will be awarded.<\/p>\n

Candidates for distinctions are all those who stand out during the course from June 30 to September 14, 2023, during the exhibitions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday on the stages of the Elinga Teatro.<\/p>\n

For the honoree, Adelino Caracol, the action was an act of public recognition, mainly by the new generation of actors, it has a special meaning that is worth the fight, the transmission of knowledge that is registered and remains.<\/p>\n

During the creation of the CIT, some certainties were conquered, such as the case of the medium and higher institute of art.<\/p>\n

Promoted by the \u201cCultura Para Todos\u201d project, the creation of the circuit is an initiative of the Pitabel theater company, a platform for artistic action and a youth movement for the training and education of men that has been running the International Theater Circuit (CIT) since 2016.<\/p>\n

CTI aims to promote values \u200b\u200bof Angolan culture through the composition, staging and exhibition of theater plays.<\/p>\n

The opening act was marked by the exhibition of a play entitled \u201co Hero\u0301i Inesqueci\u0301vel\u201d, by the Massoxi group, a traditional dance by Tremura Show and a performance by the gospel musician Grace Zola.<\/p>\n
