Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A session based on building the initial five dominated (Monday), in Luanda, the training of the National Team, for the African Senior Women’s Basketball Championship (Afrobasket2023), which will be played from 28 July to 6 August , in Kigali, Rwanda.<\/b><\/p>\n

In the other part, dressed in white jerseys, played Giovana Do\u0302ngua, Sara Caetano, Artemis Afonso, Isabel Fernando, Jessica Malaji, Denise Pascoal, Joana Anto\u0301nio, Ketcha Nganga.<\/p>\n

The team still had time to launch long distances and hit the ball.<\/p>\n

The winger Avelina Peso, with a sprained left ankle, accompanied the training on the bench, while Nelma Cunha, Arminda Joaquim and Armanda Sindalawa were dismissed to take school exams. However, pole Nadir Tati is recovering from fatigue after participating in the National Championship.<\/p>\n

The National Team has two more training sessions in Luanda, one this afternoon, at the Cidadela pavilion, and another for Tuesday (10 am), at the same venue, after which they will head to Benguela, in a pre-competition stage, until the day July 24th.<\/p>\n

The trip to the stage of the competition is scheduled for the 25th. Angola champion of the 2011 (Mali) and 2013 (Mozambique) editions, is in group A, along with Rwanda and Cote\u0302 d’Ivoire.<\/p>\n

The Afrobasket draw \u201cRwanda \u03012023\u201c placed in Group B, the teams of Cameroon, Mozambique and Guinea. In group C are Mali, Senegal and Uganda, while Nigeria, Egypt and DRC form series D.<\/p>\n
