Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Ten agricultural and milling kits were delivered Tuesday, in Lubango, to 25 former soldiers by the local administration, within the scope of the Integrated Program for Local Development and Combating Poverty to encourage productive activities that integrate that fringe.<\/b><\/p>\n

The agriculture kit is made up of sprayers, electro-pumps with their respective hoses, seeds, wheelbarrows, ploughs, fertilizers and small animals, as well as a complete grinder.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Jose\u0301 Matias, said that the feeling is one of gratitude and recognition by the Government for the efforts of former soldiers in the past, for which they committed themselves to working hard and employing people who have not yet been covered by the initiative.<\/p>\n

The administrator of Lubango, Lisender Andre\u0301, declared that it is a fringe that deserves due attention from the Government, so that initiatives within the program will continue and the beneficiaries must make the best use of the resources received.<\/p>\n

He referred that the municipal directorates of Social Action and Agriculture will monitor the effective application of these distributed means, so that it is better profitable and generates more sustainability in families.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea is to promote and increase employment, to make the investment that the State and the municipal administration, in a concrete way, have been undertaking in the distribution of these kits worthwhile,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The municipality has registered 160 ex-soldiers affiliated with associations and cooperatives that could benefit from kits of this kind in future phases.<\/p>\n
