Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Petro de Luanda started this Thursday, in the country’s capital, the 2023\/24 season, with the usual medical examinations.<\/b><\/p>\n

The national champions, who in the previous season won the three internal competitions (Supertac\u0327a, Campeonato and Tac\u0327a de Angola), will maintain the basic structure of the team, led by the Portuguese coach Alexandre Santos.<\/p>\n

Field work will take place in Portugal, where the \u201coil\u201d group will travel next week.<\/p>\n

For this season, the \u201ctricolors\u201d have already confirmed the entry of midfielders Aisson (former Wiliete de Benguela), Tchutchu (former Desportivo da Huila) and winger Apado (Wiliete).<\/p>\n

Noteworthy is also the return of goalkeeper Nathan, who in the last two seasons represented Acade\u0301mica do Lobito, while among the departures, goalkeeper Beny and right-back Karanga, both for Desportivo da Huila , in addition to Cabibi for the Wiliete de Benguela.<\/p>\n

The Portuguese Alex Soares and the Brazilian Gleison did not see their contracts being renewed.<\/p>\n

Petro will play, in addition to the National Championship (Girabola), the Super Cup, the Angola Cup, the African Champion Clubs League and the African Super Cup.<\/p>\n
