Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Due to a technical fault, Regina Dumbo was disqualified from the qualifiers for the semi-finals of the World Adapted Athletics Championship.<\/b><\/p>\n

On Sunday night, at the event taking place at the Charlety Porte de Gentilly stadium, in Paris (France), Dumbo even took second place in the 400m for the visually impaired, class T11, with a time of 1:01.83 which would give access to the next stage , but your guide made a blunder in athletics.<\/p>\n

Evolving on the fifth track, Ada\u0303o Soares, a supporting athlete, stepped on the side track at a certain point in the course, leading to disqualification according to the rules established by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).<\/p>\n

In the second series, Colombian Salcedo Lonis dominates, with 1:01.40, followed by Koech Chel, from Kenya, with 1:07.51, Wu Yi-Jung, from China TPE, with 1:11.74 and Regina Dumbo, from Angola, disqualified.<\/p>\n

In the third series, Ishitle Lahja, from Namibia, won with 58.46, followed by Pabon Angie, from Colombia, with 59.27, Emeloide Kassang, from Angola, with 1:06.20 and Jepkemei Priscah, from Kenya, disqualified.<\/p>\n

In the fourth and last series Simplicio Thalita, from Brazil, 1:00.26, followed by Beel Quintana, from Spain, with 1:04.42, Juliana Moko, from Angola, with 1:04.49 and Njoroge Mary, from Kenya, with 1:17.03.<\/p>\n

Angola returns to the track on Wednesday in the 100 meters with the three sprinters and with Manuel Jaime, in the 400 meters for the T46 class, with physical disabilities.<\/p>\n
