Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Consulate General of Angola in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, started to implement Saturday, the General Consular Management System (SIGGEC).<\/b><\/p>\n

The information is contained in a note from the Embassy of Angola in Abu Dhabi, which refers to having been the SIGGEC created by the Institute of Administrative Modernization (IMA), an entity belonging to the Auxiliary Bodies of the President of the Republic.<\/p>\n

The system has already been implemented in South Africa and Portugal.<\/p>\n

The creation of this important digital tool for consular management, underlines the document, represents an important step towards the modernization of the Institute of Angolan Communities Abroad and Consular Services (ICAESC) and Consular Posts, through the simplification and dematerialization of procedures, integration and interoperability of public services.<\/p>\n

Likewise, for the automated processing of information, integrity and security of citizens’ data, providing a more dynamic public service, both for the provider, the ICAESC and Consular Posts, both for national and foreign citizens.<\/p>\n

The purpose of SIGGEC is to ensure the management of consular acts, to standardize the digital presence and visual identity of the Diplomatic and Consular Missions, with the provision of the Institutional Portal, as well as to guarantee the technical and functional response capacity of Consular Agents when using this system.<\/p>\n
