Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Oil production in Angola stood at 33.6 million barrels in June this year, 831.2 thousand barrels less compared to the previous period, in May.<\/b><\/p>\n

The daily average production was 1,120,246 barrels of oil (BOPD) exceeding the forecast of 1,114,439 BOPD, according to the monthly report by the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG).<\/p>\n

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) data for the first quarter of this year point to a decline in crude oil production of around 8%, compared to the last quarter of 2022.<\/p>\n

In the first quarter of this year, Angola exported 87.92 million barrels of oil for a total of US$6.92 billion.<\/p>\n

The reduction in exports had an impact on the revenue collection component for the State coffers.<\/p>\n

Also in June, associated gas production during the same period was 79,158 million cubic feet, corresponding to a daily average of 2,639 million cubic feet (MMSCFD).<\/p>\n

Of this volume, 1,325 MMSCFD are injected, 598 MMSCFD are made available to the Angola LNG factory, 338 MMSCFD are used for power generation at oil installations and the remainder is used in operations and oil disposal.<\/p>\n
